Time spent at Palazzo Ripetta.
This one-off shoot at Palazzo Ripetta focused on its restaurant, bar and breakfast offering, with the experience of spending time there at the centre of the brief.
I photographed food and drinks alongside moments in the hotel’s spaces: coffee in the courtyard, reading together in the lounge and sharing a meal. The collection brings the setting and the people enjoying it into the same frame.
Photographs that invite you in.
For this project, I moved between wider views of the surroundings, closer photographs of the food and moments of interaction. Each gives a guest something different to imagine about their visit.
The people bring scale and movement to the interiors. A hand reaching for a glass or lifting a fork gives the dining photographs a sense of life. Together, these images show how the spaces can be enjoyed.
