Rarely all in one place.
For Clif’s family, this trip to Rome meant having everyone together. The grandparents had organised the journey with their sons, daughters-in-law and four grandchildren—a gathering that wasn’t easy to arrange when they lived in different cities across the United States.
They wanted a family photograph to remember it by: all three generations, sharing the same place and moment.
Together, with room for everyone.
With a larger family, I think about both the photograph everyone wants to take home and the smaller relationships within it. There needs to be space for the whole group, each generation and the children’s own pace.
Personal planning helps bring those different needs together, so the session feels like part of the time you’re sharing.
